Max sure looks handsome in blue don't you think? However, I bet if we were to ask Max what he thought about all of this, he would say:

I was doing fine, minding my own business. I should have known something was up when you didn't feed me this morning. Then, you took me to the vet and just left me there!!! Gee whezzzzz. Ain't I part of your pack! I do everything you ask me to do...well...if I can see or smell the treats.
Ok. Ok. Ok. I know my teeth are sharp. BUT they are the little biddy baby teeth I have right now...and some are them are gone.
So you drop me off and leave me at the vet's office. Then, he did something that MADE me take a nap. I am not a lazy boy. I am telling you the vet MADE me take a nap.
Then, when I woke up, I found out that the vet had the nerve to steal my family jewels. What's a guy suppose to do? And, look at this thing around my neck. How am I suppose to scratch my butt. Besides, I don't want to wear a girls collar! Where's the cool looking tie a guy is suppose to wear anyway???
On top of all of that, I have been tagged. The vet said he put a microship between my shoulder blades. He said it was to help you guys find me if you ever lose me. Lose Me!! How irresponsible it that! The, If someone finds me, they can take me to the vet and SCAN me! SCAN me!! I bet you really hid some secret information on that chip and just using me as an excuse. You really should be able to keep up with all your online passwords somewhere else!!

Wow! All that sounds pretty traumatic. Good luck with mending quickly (BTW, you are right, the collar is kind of girly, but you do pull it off).
