And the runner up was...
Greetings my fellow readers,
In an amazing organized feat of frenzy, (oh, I mean time), I have actually been able to put together one of the most fascinating historic mind bending stories you have read about me yet....
Why I Was Runner Up in the Heavy Weight Foot Contest
Two months and 3 weeks ago, on a dark night, David and I were minding our own business, just walking Maverick out to pasture. David opened the gate, I lead Maverick into the pasture, I stopped, and low and behold, so did Maverick.... right on top of my rght foot.
I wished I could have been re-baptized after that night. I let out a blood curling scream and swore. Yep, my favorite word that I have been trying to remove from my vocabulary slipped out .....not a whisper mind you ....it was loud and clear.
I did my nurse self-diagnosis, stayed off my foot for a couple of weeks. My foot never did turn blue. It did swell for a few days. I thought is was better.
Back in the saddle I went and got ready for the next schooling show out at the ranch. Didn't' do too bad....2nd place and 3rd place. The judge was a twerp.
My foot was hurting again(you think it was healed???). I held out and I finally went to the doctor 3 weeks ago. I have a cracked little toe on the right foot. You will see I had different versions of how to treat it.
1. tapped to next toe
2. wear glamorous shoe-wear for at least 2-3 wks
3. internet version: your toe will take approximately 6 wks to heal and then it may still be sore when you begin wearing shoes again. If your toe has not healed correctly, you may need to have surgery.
I have advantage of number 1 and 2. Classey, eh?! I think I have cute feet. After looking at my right foot, I know that you are dying to see my left foot, but you will just have to wait. If I end up having surgery, then I will throw in a picture of my left foot.
good grief!@#@#! Just because I got there first doesn't mean I am the winner!

Well, I hope you are back to wearing 5 inch heels by now.
Seriously, sorry about the injury.
Can't wait to see what your post is for July!
