Mother's Day and Visits with the Family
We had an opportunity to visit with family this spring.
Jennifer, Pace, Sterling, Reagan, and Grace all came to visit. We took in the zoo and the gardens. The grandchildren have certainly grown a lot and they are fun to play with and just sit down and talk to.
Sheila, Erik, Everett and Mandy, Phillip, Preston, and Riley were in Austin recently to visit friends and family in that area and we drove down to join them. We had a really nice time visiting with them including Erik's parents. It was an enjoyable and peaceful trip. They got to visit with Max as well, as we did take our little companion with us. He traveled really well. Austin continues to be beautiful and this time of year did exhibit its treasure in the wild flowers that grace our higways and farm to market roads.
We also had the pleasure to have the newlyweds, Deborah and Arthur, come visit. They are both busy with work and school.
The tradition on Mother's Day has always been that I get breakfast in bed. For some reason, I got up and helped make breakfast this year. It was fun to be with David in the kitchen. I got to be boss!
Our family continues to grow. We have another grandchild is due in December. Sheila and Erik are having an increase. Everett will have either a brother or a sister. More fun for us!! We are blessed to have our family here in the states. Our daughters, their spouses and our grandchildren enrich our lives in ways that is hard to describe. I am grateful to each and every one of them in how they have blessed my life with joy and love.

We loved seeing you and Everett enjoyed the song you left on voicemail the other week. Hope we get to see more of you before too long.
