Down by the lagoon

This was a busy month for us. We drove down to visit my parents in their lagoon. The have a pond, rabbits, frogs, deer, geese, squirrels, bugs, and an alligator at their place.

Yes, Alley the alligator is quite a stealth fellow. We got pictures of him cruising through the pond and laying in wait by the lily pads for an unsuspecting fish, bird, or frog to nuzzle by too close.



We took Max with us and he did his fair share of exploring and chasing after rabbits and bugs. It just goes to show you that you can take the dog out of the yard, but can't take the yard out of the dog. Max is all dog and we sure have enjoyed him.


Ok, now I know I saw the dragonfly just a second ago.




Come on now, he couldn't have gone that far!




Oh, nevermind, there's a rabbit underneath here.




Geez louise, don't rabbits ever come out from underneath the porch! That's just not fair!




I guess I am just too fast them...I'm such a hero!
