Over the river and through the woods to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma we went. We arrive by sleigh in Athens, TX the weekend before Christmas. Deborah and Arthur along with Phillip, Mandy, and Preston came as well.
We enjoyed lunch with them at the neighboring lake restaurant with an entre of catfish, hush puppies and french fries. Great Grandma hosted dessert. Man, she is a great cook!
We saw some wildlife out there at their place, but didn't get to see the alligator that lives in their tank.
David and I stayed overnight. We drove over to look at the Christmas Lights. We saw some pretty cool decorations.
Later on we sleighed to Waco and have another family gathering there. We had alot of fun watching Preston open his presents. Phillip and Mandy fixed a great roast. I got tickled watching Preston during video games. He gets a pretty intense look on his face!
