I can safely say it has been over one year since the rider pictured here(ok, it's me, Robin) has fallen of Mavrik. Training with him has been alot of work, but fun and rewarding. Of course, it could not have been as much fun without the handsome groom, David. All the women in the barn ask how me how I have gotten David so well trained. I can honestly say that I haven't done a thing...we just enjoy one another's company.
Training in dressage and using an english saddle has brought new meaning the the phrase, "Find your seat." I used to think my trainer was really concerned about me finding my seat while I'm in the saddle. I told her one day that I could see my seat real well laying out all over the saddle. Fortunately she was talking about buttock bones and posture. It seems the two go together.
