Off to see the Urologist

David went for a chest xray due to a lingering cough. The chest xray showed alittle bit of this and alittle bit of that, so we did CT of abd with/without contrast. That led to US abdomen. Below is the significant finding. A 2" x 2" cyst in the left kidney. I copied the image off the DVD.

He sees a urologist, which most men should start seeing by age of 45, on Monday, Sept. 22 in the afternoon. The doctor will let David know if there is anything to be done. He is in no pain and his kidney functions are good. He still needs to have nuclear studies of his thyroid, but that will have to wait for about 4 more weeks because of the contrast material done with the CT.

Pray for this great man, that the treatment plan is simple and noninvasive. We will keep you updated. By the way, his cough in much, much better.

I think it is interesting that the Lord will give us a seemingly simple problem so we can discover something bigger. I do pray that everything goes well. We will keep looking for more updates.

Thanks for the update. Dad is always so quiet about what's going on with him. Love you. Please keep us up dated.
