We ended up attaining our goal. We dug up dead shrubs. We planted new shrubs.We planted geraniums, hosta, hydrangeas(I know that one is mispelled) and begonias. Looks pretty good to me!
Looks great! But, you don't have any elephant ears; I'm surprised. Go steal some from your neighbor! (I remember how big those suckers were.) It really does look like a transformation.
