The Side Swiper

Miracles happen every day and Friday evening was no exception. David was within 5 miles from home when a car did a side strip into David's car going about 80 mph. David was exiting off the George Bush Hwy onto Jupiter on his way home. It pushed his car over into the next lane. Thankfully, there was no one there to greet him. It all happened so fast and David wasn't hurt, just shaken up. The hit and run driver continued his/her speedy space, weaving in and out of traffic. There was no way to get a license plate number and, of course, when David got out to check the damage, no one pulled behind him to see if he was ok.

The guardian angels took good care of our patriach and I am very glad indeed!

Damage to the car includes a broken side view mirrow, scrapes, dents, and rubber burns that start about the middle of the left front passenger door and decorated the driver's door, and the passenger window is scraped where the speedy twerk's side view mirror began scraping the car until it took out David's side view mirror.

I hate people like that. I am glad dad is okay and no one got hurt.
